Program Notes:This string quartet is the second in the collection of string quartets. This work draws inspiration from Maurice Ravel’s String Quartet in F major (M. 35) and Beethoven’s String Quartet in C Minor (Opus 18, Number 4). It was written for the Brevard Music Festival and Summer Institute in the summer of 2024. Completed in January of 2025.
